Angela Bloch is the Founder and Owner of Elevated Animal Care, LLC, a specialized in-home pet care company dedicated to providing professional, compassionate care beyond traditional pet sitting.

Angela's passion for animal health began long before her professional career. She studied Pre-Veterinary Medicine at Lebanon Valley College before continuing her education in Business at Harrisburg Area Community College. After entering the veterinary profession, she completed additional coursework toward Veterinary Technician certification, expanding her medical knowledge and clinical skills.

With over 15 years of experience in veterinary medicine, including 10 years working as a veterinary technician on the hospital floor, Angela has cared for thousands of patients with a wide variety of medical needs. Her experience includes administering treatments, monitoring anesthesia during surgical procedures, assisting veterinarians in emergency and critical care cases—including CPR—and closely monitoring patient vital signs.

Throughout her career, Angela has developed extensive experience caring for patients with complex medical conditions, including diabetes, heart disease, kidney failure, paralysis, post-surgical recovery, traumatic injuries, and advanced wound management. She is highly experienced in wound care, medication administration, patient monitoring, rehabilitation exercises and following veterinarian-directed treatment plans with precision and compassion.

Before entering veterinary medicine, Angela worked extensively with horses, gaining hands-on experience with foaling, wound care, bandaging, medication administration, and general equine husbandry. That foundation helped shape her calm, confident approach to caring for animals of all sizes.

Animal rescue has always been close to Angela's heart. She has fostered numerous surrendered veterinary patients requiring specialized medical care and later became a foster with Homeward Bound Animal Rescue, opening her home to those deserving of a second chance.

In 2026, Angela founded Elevated Animal Care, LLC with a mission to raise the standard of professional pet sitting. She recognized that many pets simply are not candidates for traditional boarding facilities because they require individualized medical attention, specialized care, or a trained professional capable of recognizing subtle changes in their condition.

For Angela, caring for animals has never simply been a career—it's a lifelong passion built on experience, compassion, and a commitment to providing the highest level of care every patient deserves.
